Kathryn Ace

Personal Lines Account Executive/CISR

Katie joined Mullins Insurance in 2004, originally handling claims and being the office receptionist. Through the years at the agency, she obtained her Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license, allowing her to assist in many other functions in the agency. She currently is a Personal Lines Account Executive with the designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative capable of handling all personal insurance needs. Katie’s knowledge of insurance runs in the family. She is the daughter of Kathleen and granddaughter of Harry A. Mullins, founder. Her fantastic personality is loved by all and she is very enthusiastic about her job. Her greatest joy in life came with the birth of her sons, Liam in 2011, Jonah in 2013 and Bennett in 2015. She and her husband Danny enjoy watching them learn and grow day by day. She also enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, hiking, traveling and, most of all, spending time with family. She and her husband operate The Morning Cure, a weekend breakfast and brunch eatery located inside of the historic Deer Head Inn in Delaware Water Gap, PA. She is a graduate of Stroudsburg High School and was born and raised in Stroudsburg. She and her family reside in Stroud Township.

Phillip Barcafer, Jr.

Commercial Lines Account Executive/CPCU, AIS, ACSRC

Phil is a graduate of Ramapo College (majoring in Economics) and is a veteran of the insurance industry for over 30 years with the following designations: Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, Associate in Insurance Services, and Accredited Customer Service Representative in Commercial Lines. He's an active participant in the community, serving on the Stroud Township Zoning Hearing Board, The Pocono Arts Council, and Stroud Township Litter Patrol and is a past Chairman of the Monroe County Park and Recreation Commission. He is a member of Kiwanis Daybreak Club of Stroudsburg. He is a Tae Kwon Do black belt instructor. Phil has been a resident of the Pocono area for over 30 years and resides here with his wife Cathy. They have two grown children.

Harry A. Mullins

Consultant

Harry is a native of Stroudsburg. After serving three years as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, he entered the insurance business as an agent for a highly respected local agency. He became Vice President of the firm and specialized in commercial lines.

After 18 years, he and his wife formed the Harry A. Mullins Insurance Agency from their home. They worked together and within three months rented an office across the street from the current location which they purchased. After the passing of his wife, Patt, in March 2013, Harry remains as a consultant.

Harry has always been a firm believer in dedication to his community. He served on the Pocono Mountains Chamber of Commerce board for nine years, was Secretary of the Stroudsburg Business Association for 24 years, was a member of the Kiwanis Club of Stroudsburg for 35 years, coached Little League Baseball for 7 years among being involved in many other organizations, including being an active member of St Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church where he was a charter member of their Finance Council.

He currently plays trumpet in the East Stroudsburg University Student/Community Member Concert Band. Harry resides in Stroud Township and has five grown children, six grandchildren and three great grandsons.

Kathleen Mullins

President/CIC, CISR

Kathleen was born and raised in Stroudsburg and is a graduate of Shippensburg University. She taught high school in Monroe County for two years before joining her father at Mullins Insurance in 1984. She is now part owner and President and has obtained her Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Insurance Service Representative designations. Her philosophy is to treat every client of Mullins just like family, ensuring that they are treated with the utmost respect and receive excellent customer service. She believes that you wouldn’t want your family to ever be left without adequate protection-so why should the customer.

As a mother of two grown children, Kathleen understands the value of giving back to the community as she had done for the Stroudsburg Little League and Stroudsburg Area Youth Wrestling Association. She is a former board member of the East Stroudsburg University Foundation and the Greater Pocono Chamber of Commerce. She is a senior member of the Kiwanis Club of Stroudsburg, where she also served on the board. Kathleen also served on the local chapter of the American Heart Association board and the Independent Insurance Agents of Pennsylvania. She is an active member of St. Matthew’s Roman Catholic Church. Kathleen enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling and watching football and baseball. She is a proud grandmother of four grandsons and one granddaughter.

Stan Miles

Commercial Lines Account Executive/CIC

Stan was born in South Carolina and attended Brookstone College in Dallas, Texas. He moved to Stroudsburg in 1988 and is active in the community serving as a former Scoutmaster for Boy Scout Troop 105, a volunteer firefighter, a member of the Monroe County Rapid Intervention Team and Trustee on the Board of the Monroe County Public Library Association. He is a veteran insurance broker with over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry and is a Certified Insurance Counselor. He feels that Mullins Insurance offers area residents a warm and friendly environment where getting to know the agent is expected. Stan is a member of the Rotary Club of Stroudsburg. He enjoys outdoor activities like fly-fishing, hunting, and golf. Stan resides in Stroudsburg with his wife Teri and 3 children, Lucas, Gabriel, and Savannah.

Rhonda Williams

Personal Lines Account Executive/CISR

Rhonda has over 25 years of insurance experience, having achieved her Certified Insurance Service Representative designation. She joined our staff in 2001 and looks forward to continuing her career at the company. Rhonda attended Lock Haven University. Rhonda has her Pennsylvania Property & Casualty license and is currently a Personal Lines Agent capable of handling all personal insurance needs. She is a member of the Stroudsburg Wesleyan Church and volunteers there as a greeter and in their food pantry. Rhonda firmly believes in giving back to the community in which she lives and also volunteers as an advisory board member for Pocono Services for Families and Children. She volunteers for Relay for Life for the American Cancer Society. Rhonda has inexhaustible energy and patience and is very conscientious. She’s an avid swimmer and gardener and enjoys kayaking, biking and tennis. She resides in Stroud Township and has twin daughters in graduate school.

Marian Gray

Bookkeeper

Marian has spent her career in the hospitality management field as a comptroller and operations manager. Her grandparents moved to the Poconos in 1921 and started a summer resort (which closed in 1989) which is where she gathered her experience to continue in the hospitality field (until now). She has joined the team at Mullins Insurance based on the customer service and bookkeeping experience she has gained over the years. Born and raised in the Poconos, she has a daughter, Alicia, a son, Dakota, and two grandchildren, Kaleb and Lucas.
